Wait a while longer and am finally seen by the doctor. I had a hiccup with a nurse when talking about my VA insurance, she kept asking for my dad or husbands member number and I had to repeat that I was the veteran, not my husband or father so that was weird. I get to the clinic and wait an hour- totally fine I get it, there was a lot going on and I didn’t mind waiting. Called back and let them know and they confirmed my appointment. Called the VA, they said no, it’s urgent care and it’s covered since they’re on their list of approved clinics. I verified prior that VA healthcare was accepted but when I called the clinic, I was told I needed prior authorization from the VA. Back in august, I suspected a potential UTI so I made an appointment at this clinic to be seen for it. My experience was weird to say the least. I had a wonderful experience at Indigo and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone needing medical attention in the Spokane South Hill area. Britts, who attended me, was very friendly and personable and I feel like I got 5 star care. What an happy relief! All my medical records including allergies, medications, etc. Also surprising, I didn’t have to fill out a single form despite it being my first time to the clinic. It was surprising, really, to be treated like an important client instead of just another patient. We are visiting Spokane from Hawaii and although I have never had bad care at home, we have also never been offered a refreshment (water, juice or coffee I believe) in the waiting room of a hospital or urgent care. Todd literally greeted us at the door, holding it open for us as we approached from the sidewalk.
From the time of our arrival, we received attentive, courteous and friendly care.
